Welcome to EchoSScribe! These Terms of Service govern your use of our website and transcription services (“Service”). By using EchoSScribe, you agree to these terms.

1. Use of Service

You must be at least 13 years old to use EchoSScribe. You agree not to upload, share, or transcribe content that violates any laws or infringes on others’ rights. You may not attempt to harm, hack, or misuse our Service.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining your account’s confidentiality. EchoSScribe is not responsible for any loss resulting from unauthorized access to your account.

3. Payments, Subscriptions & Refunds

EchoSScribe operates on a subscription-based model with monthly plans. Payments are processed via our secure payment partner, Razorpay.

Subscription Plans: Paid plans (Basic and Pro) are billed monthly on a recurring basis. Your subscription will automatically renew each month until cancelled.

Free Plan: Users on the Free Plan receive 40 minutes of transcription per month. These minutes reset at the start of each billing cycle.

Cancellation Policy: You may cancel your subscription at any time from your Account Settings. Upon cancellation:

• You will retain access to your paid plan until the end of your current billing period
• No prorated refunds will be issued for the remaining days in your billing cycle
• After your billing period ends, your account will revert to the Free plan

Account Deletion: If you choose to delete your account, any active subscription will be cancelled immediately without refund. All your data, including transcriptions and transaction history, will be permanently deleted.

4. Audio and Transcriptions

Storage: Uploaded audio files and generated transcripts are stored securely to provide you with a history of your work. You are responsible for managing this data and can delete it at any time.

Accuracy: Our service uses advanced AI for transcription. While highly accurate, we do not guarantee 100% error-free results. Accuracy depends on audio quality, background noise, and speaker clarity.

Ownership: You retain full ownership of your content. We do not claim any rights over your audio or resulting transcripts.

5. Service Availability

EchoSScribe strives for maximum uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance or upgrades as needed.

6. Limitation of Liability

EchoSScribe is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you’ve paid in the past 30 days.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or applicable laws.

8. Updates to Terms

We may modify these Terms periodically. Continued use of EchoSScribe after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
